Note to Genealogists:

While the Research Library of the SDB Historical Society contains many resources which are useful to genealogists, the Seventh Day Baptist Historical Society is not primarily a genealogy assistance organization.  We may not have the time or resources to respond to genealogical requests, and all genealogists requesting information should realize it may take weeks or months for their requests to be answered, if they can be answered at all.  This policy reflects the state of our capacities as a small Baptist Historical Society, not an unwillingness to cooperate with researchers.  We are happy to have genealogists visit and make full use of our resources at the library, but we do not have the resources to conduct extensive searches for those who cannot make their way to our facilities.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
