Seventh Day Baptists trace their roots to the English Reformation of the 1650's, when Christians in that area became convinced of both the standard Baptist tenets, but also of the Seventh-day Sabbath (which is Saturday).  From then to now, Seventh Day Baptists have maintained those beliefs as we continue to carry out the command of the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19ff) to "...make disciples of all nations."
